Automotive segment is no exception. We can see the results in new vehicles being much more sophisticated, safer and comfortable year by year. The drawback is often in terms of lower interest in car security which allows for various security flaws. Problem starts the moment when information about such flaws is misused by those who are not hesitant to do whatever for their good. Consequences are clearly seen in statistics made by police departments, with brand new vehicles being on the top positions of the list of stolen vehicles. Such information can be considered a fact.
The solution could be found in additional car security systems obtained by the vehicle owner. This brings us to the realm of car security systems manufacturers, our company being among them for more than 21 years. Our product portfolio had been recently extended with new product designed according to latest demands. Primary goal: comfort
One of the main goals during Keetec RIDER design process was the maximum comfort of using the system. Integral system component is elegant fob – top of the line electronic circuits in a durable housing. Measures had been taken for energy consumption and resulted in comfortable use of the fob for three years with one battery. Everything the user needs to worry about is just to bring the fob into the vehicle.
Blocks everything necessary.
Keetec RIDER was designed for fast and effective blocking of low-current circuits of modern vehicles. Examples of use being START/STOP button wires, electronic selector of AT, brake or clutch pedal and many other circuits needed for engine start or run.
Consumption is important.
By using the most recent components it was possible to achieve record-breaking low consumption. In active state Keetec RIDER will not use more than 5mA of current. Given this property it is ideal for use in vehicles driven only few times a year. Use of zero-consumption relay could be considered a unique solution.
Shape as demanded.
Even design of the main unit housing was not a coincidence. Dimensions of the unit were adjusted in terms of discreet installation. Correctly installed Keetec RIDER is almost „invisible“ and thus making it hard for potential unauthorised person trying to put the unit out of service.

Unique plastic card with secret PIN code and detailed procedure for emergency deactivation helps the user in situation when the fob was lost. Easy access to service mode allows user to make the system inactive in case of leaving the vehicle for maintenance.
